Mayor Jones has brought together a variety of stakeholders charged with the goal of enhancing Harrisonburg's tourism offerings. Panel representatives include: the restaurant and lodging industry, attractions, James Madison University, Eastern Mennonite University, Parks and Recreation, North East Neighborhood, both uptown and downtown, a young adult Harrisonburg resident, a Harrisonburg resident representing a family, brewer, realtor, City Council, and Tourism staff.
The Tourism Expert Recommendation and Review Panel meets in City Hall, Room 237 at 4:00pm, when meetings are called.
The next meeting for Monday, May 2, 2016 has been postponed.
